RecPak Ultralight Meal Replacement is made for big days in the mountains.
One of the hardest things for me to prepare for a big day in the mountains is planning what snacks, food, nutrition, hydration, etc. I will need to bring with me. Sometimes the thought of having to figure out what I am going to bring with me is what stops me from going at all. When my motivation is low and my ADD is high, I don't need big decisions getting in the way of me getting out the door. Energy bars don't really provide enough nutrients and calories for longer days hiking, trailrunning, biking, hunting, etc. And freeze dried meals require a stove and take time to prepare. RecPak Ultralight Meal Replacment makes it super easy and solves all of these problems. It's light, doesn't require a lot of room to pack, is super easy to make, and actually tastes good.

My Thoughts About RecPak
So Far I have used RecPak on a longish hike (around 8 miles) and a big day out on my mountain bike. I have tried the Chocolate and the Vanilla Chai flavors. Both were delicious but I think the Vanilla Chai wins in the flavor department for me. The biggest win for me was knowing all I had to think about is throwing the the RecPak pouch in my pack and having enough water to pour into the pouch to mix it up. Taking the thought process out of fueling my body with the calories and nutrients I need to keep moving is a real game changer. Open the cap and fill the pouch with water and shake it up and you're ready to drink. Sometimes getting food down when you are fatigued can be a chore but RecPak goes down super easy and didn't make me feel bloated or sick to my stomach like some meal replacements I have tried in the past. I can feel a significant energy boost and life come back to my muscles when I've used RecPak and it gives me exactly what I need to keep moving. It also takes care of both fueling and hydration and I have noticed a significant decline in cramping after bigger days out in the backcountry. I have not found a meal replacement that works and tastes as good as RecPak yet and I'm stoked on this stuff.
