Fit And Sizing
We find that the Trail Thrasher Pro fits true to size, so you can order your normal US size.
As with all Lems shoes, if you need more volume inside the shoe or increased ground contact, you can remove the insole. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our customer service team at support@lemsshoes.com. - (For reference in sizing, I wear a 12 in most shoes and the 12 in these fit me perfect. They do fit wider than any other shoes I have worn but not so wide they feel sloppy or loose. Just super comfortable. The extra width feels like it is mostly in the toe box area and it's awesome! How Do They Perform?
I honestly haven't been able to come up with much negative about the Lems Trail Thrasher Pro Waterproof shoes. They are kind of the perfect blend of comfort, durability, and versatility in a shoe when it's snowy or wet out or even when it's dry. One of the reasons I have liked these shoes is the ability they give you to just go from picking up some groceries to riding my mountain bike or hit up a quick hike without hesitation and worrying if I have the right shoes on. Are they the best hiking shoe? No. Are they the best mountain biking shoe? No. But my favorite hiking shoes and my favorite mountain biking shoes are pretty much good for only that specific purpose. I'm not going to be wearing either of those as an everyday, do everything shoe. The Trail Thrasher Pro's don't really hesitate doing a little bit of everything and I like that I don't have to think about what to wear when I head out the door. The fit is really good. If you have not tried a pair of shoes like these before with the wider toe box, you need to do yourself a favor and get a pair. You won't regret it. It's pretty great. I feel like this is how shoes should have been since the beginning.

I have spent a good bit of time mountain biking with these and they are pretty good. The sole is stiff enough that my feet don't just flop over the pedals like a pancake. They have enough support that I don't get fatigue or pain in my arches. They do a good job of damping out chatter and vibrations coming up from the pedals too. As far as grip, they don't have quite the same pin swallowing grip as my five ten freerider pros but they are grippy enough to feel confident and planted and I have not slipped a pedal on them yet. I kind of like the ease of being able to adjust my foot position with the Lems as well.

I've done some short hikes in the Trail Thrasher Pro's as well. The vibram sole provides traction and grip in a lot of different types of terrain including snow. They have kept my feet dry in some snow and through wet grass and brush. Comfort is good and you can't feel much from rocks and pointy roots and stuff trying to come up through the sole either.

Who Are They For?
If you like a skate style shoe that has mega vibram grip, is waterproof, rugged, badass, super comfortable and you can wear it pretty much everywhere for almost every kind of activity then these would be a great purchase.
