The FLYLOW Nash Sun Hoody Is Becoming A Favorite For All My Activities In The Sun.
The introduction of the sun hoody has been a life saver for people like myself that lack pigment. I use to suffer from wicked sunburns or have to lather myself in sunscreen before spending more than 15 minutes outdoors. Covering up with clothes wasn't really an option either because anything more than a t-shirt would cause you to overheat and sweat to death. Thanks to modern, breathable fabrics I can now stay cool and protect myself from the sun. Sun hoodies have changed the game of getting outside but some are better than others. I've found some that breathe and some that don't, and some that fit weird and some that fit great and some that get real stinky and others that do not. Thus far I have put the FLYLOW Nash Sun Hoody through the ringer and it's been quite good so far. Let's get into it.

How It Performs
I have been wearing the Nash Sun Hoody while fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking and even just out doing work in my yard building fences, pulling weeds and mowing the lawn. Temps I have experienced have ranged from high 60's to low 90's. I feel like the Nash is one of the better performers out there as far as keeping me cool when it starts to get hot. I tend to sweat more than the average person and the Nash does a good job of pulling the sweat off my body and into the garment and then magically keeping itself dry. As far as the SPF protection goes, I have not suffered from any level of burnage so it must be working. The Nash is super comfortable with a loose enough fit to move around in and not feel constricted. It's got a ton of stretch which is nice. When fly fishing I like to keep my thumbs in the thumb holes on the sleeve and the stretch allows me to cast without restricting any movements at all. I am a bigger sized person standing at 6'3" and weighing 260 lbs currently and the XXL fits me perfectly. I haven't gone for a swim in the Nash yet, but I have cooled off in my yard with a squirt of the hose up in the air and letting the water fall down properly drenching me and the Nash dries very fast.
One thing that has really stood out is how well the Nash Sun Hoody fights stench. Some fabrics with synthetic materials seem to start to stink and even after washing them that stink doesn't want to let go. I have a couple shirts that have to go through the wash on super hot mode in order to get the stink out. The Nash can go on multiple adventures before I start to notice any type of odor and then after a normal wash in cool water it smells nice and fresh. This is likely due to the treatment FLYLOW uses on this garment called ionic+ which is a mineral-based antimicrobial treatment that stops bacteria at its source. This allows the Nash to be worn more times between washes which saves water and allows for the garment to last longer as well. Overall good job on this one FLYLOW.
