Reveiw: Ornot Men's Merino Riding Shirt

The Ornot Men's Merino Riding Shirt Is Has Mega Comfort And Possesses Quick Drying Capability Not Of This World.

I have been riding in the Ornot Men's Merino Riding Shirt over the past couple months now and I have tried to find something wrong with it. The only thing on my wishlist for this shirt is that it was a couple inches longer. That's it. If you are riding road or gravel I don't think you will notice it feeling a bit short because you'll probably be wearing bibs. (I have been riding some Ornot bibs I will be reviewing soon) But sometimes I don't wear a liner under my shorts when I am mountain biking and my crack can make an appearance once in a while. Other than that, this shirt is pretty much perfect. First of all the fit is nice and loose but not overly baggy. For reference I am 6'3" and weigh 260 lbs. and I am wearing the XXL. Fit is really good, however with me having a bit longer torso than some, it would be cool to see a tall version. As far as comfort goes, I don't think you can get much more comfortable than this thing. It's super soft and as a good amount of stretch too. Then comes the drying capabilities of this shirt. I honestly don't think it even has a chance to get wet. I tend to be a heavy sweater kind of a person and my back is usually soaked after all of my rides. I noticed after my first ride in this shirt that when I put my bike on my rack and got into my truck my back was completely dry. I thought ya right. Must not have been very hot outside. But it was 90 degrees out. And the other plus. The Ornot Merino riding shirt doesn't get stinky. I have worn it several times without washing it and it still doesn't stink after multiple rides. I plan on loading up my closet with a few more of these shirts for sure!

Some Neat Stuff About This Merino

Ornot uses what is called Nuyarn® Technology. According to Ornot unlike traditional spinning, Nuyarn skips the twist and lets Merino shine. Drafting fibers around a high-performance filament improves warmth, drying time, and keeps you comfier than a sheep on a mountaintop.

Ornot also says Nuyarn® is made from 100% renewable and biodegradable merino wool. It uses 30% less raw material and reduces water, dyes, and energy use. Nuyarn is spun in facilities that are Bluesign® and Oeko-Tex® 100 certified to meet international environmental standards.

It is also 8.8x more durable and less prone to holes.

This patented spinning technique is also what gives this shirt it's elasticity offering comfort and unrestricted movement on the bike.
