With Camping Season Here It's A Perfect Time To Check Out Howl Campfires!

With the snow quickly melting out of the high elevation and the desert in prime time, camping is probably on your list of things to do from now through the next 5 months or so depending where you are. Or maybe you are one that just camps all year round whether there is snow or not? No matter how, when or where you camp though you will almost always need a source of heat or at least just want a nice flame to sit around stare at while hanging with friends. There can be a couple problems with this however. Wood can take up a lot of precious cargo space or just isn't available where you are going or there are fire restrictions not allowing you to safely or legally burn a wood fire. There are multiple propane solutions for campfires out there, however none seem to hold a candle to what Howl Campfires have been able to figure out with their R1 and R4 offerings. With the R1 being the most portable and the R4 putting out the most face melting heat available, Howl Campfires give you solutions to make your campfire dreams come true.
The Howl R1

The Howl R1 Campfire is the smallest and most portable out of the offerings from Howl. The Howl R1 weighs 11 lbs. and takes up minimal space with dimension coming in at 13.275 x 8.43 x 6.05 in (about the size of a shoebox) with the legs folded in. The R1 can be strapped to a propane tank and strapped into you truck and thanks to it being made super tough Howls says if you can huck and land your truck you can do it with the Howl Campfire strapped into your rig. The R1 is the go to when space is limited and you don't need to most heat possible but just need some warmth and light to gather around.

The Howl R4 Campfire

The Howl R4 Campfire is the larger of the two and puts out the most heat. The R4 is using a flame which gives you that campfire appearance and a bit of heat, but it is also using bar coal tubes that are putting out 1200+ degrees! This is what makes the Howl R4 so good when it comes to warmth. Flames are putting heat up into the air whereas the bar coal tubes are pushing heat out towards you. The steel tubes get red hot and shoot Infrared rays with the same frequencies as wood coals. As your body absorbs those rays, your molecules vibrate faster, and you get HOT. It's science. If you are looking for heat the R4 is your ticket.
