Review: Tiibo Vacuum Insulated Cycling Water Bottle

The Tiibo Vacuum Insulated Water Bottle Is A Lightweight Cycling Bottle That Keeps Water Ice Cold

Riding bikes and drinking water go hand in hand. If you are riding bikes when it's warm outside your water is also going to get warm. I've been on plenty of rides in my life when the temps get up over 90 degrees out and within a few minutes of riding in those temps my water turns into a not so refreshing bottle of water that has reached a temperature you could comfortably sip broth from a bowl of chicken noodle soup. Last summer I reviewed a bottle from a brand called bivo. The tiibo vacuum insulated water bottle is similar to the bivo with a couple of slight differences. The bivo has a soft grippy coating on its exterior where the tiibo is a harder more slick material. Both bottles are double wall vacuum insulated and do a great job of keeping liquid ice cold for the longest of rides. Both bottles are designed to let water freely flow from the bottle without having to squeeze it although I would say the bivo bottle has a bit stronger flow. I think I prefer the slighter slower flow of the tiibo. Sometimes I felt like the flow from the bivo was a bit too strong. The bivo has an attached rubber cap that covers the nozzle which is a plus if you plan on using it for mt biking. Dust and dirt would quickly fill up the nozzle of the tiibo making for some pretty dirty sips of water or hydration beverage. I would use the tiibo strictly for road biking unless they come up with a dust cover. The tiibo bottle has been great for long road rides during hot days. It does what it was designed to do which is keep water cold and have enough flow to get a decent volume of water in my mouth. The tiibo bottle is also about $10 less than the bivo bottle.
