Less Pain And Fatigue With Remind Insoles Rede Active Insole And Destin Insole

Over the past few weeks I have been running the Remind Insoles Rede Active Insole And Destin Insole. I have been super stoked on the difference these insoles from Remind have made over stock insoles that I swapped these out for. Let's take a look at each one of them individually.

The Rede Active Insole

The Rede Active Insole from Remind are a newer release from them. Remind created the Rede Active insole for more running and hiking kind of activities, however they can be used for just about whatever honestly.

I've mostly been using the 4 mm in some Hoka trail running shoes. The Rede is for someone with a lower arch profile. While my version of trail running is more of a hike/jog, I can attest that the Rede's out perform my stock insoles by a mile. I have noticeable improvement is support and cushion as well as reduced fatigue not only in my feet but my entire body. The Shock X Foam in these insoles seems to give an extra springy and energy inducing feel to each step allowing me to go a bit faster and further than normal. I also notice a better overall alignment creating less knee and back pain, which is a good thing when you are 47 years old and a bit overweight. That means less advil I have to take after a few miles of kinda running on a trail.

These would go super hard in a pair of mountain bike shoes whether you are running flat or clipless pedals! Better support and alignment along with energy return and added comfort would go a long way out on the trail. I have run them in my Five Ten Freerider Pro's a couple times so far and They take out a lot of trail chatter and vibration that come up through my pedals.

The Destin Insole

The Destin insole has been my go to for daily footwear. Awesome for grocery shopping, skating and standing for hours at a time at concerts too. When your mind says pit but your knees say balcony, the Destin insoles are your ticket to being young again. If you're priority is comfort the Destin's are the way to go. These are a bit thicker than the 4mm version of the Rede's that I have. They have a bit softer and more cushiony feel to them. They give a more cloud like feel to my feet rather than the firmer energy giving feel of the Rede. I would say to go with these if you are prioritizing softness and comfort over energy return. For skateboarding these are going to offer more board feel and overall control.
